Technology Genkinger-Technology in the guesthouse (heating and sanitary) 
Before his "excursion to Chile", Helmut worked some years in the company of his father, the Genkinger Wasser-Wärme Ltd. (GWW), in Pfalzgrafenweiler in the Black-Forest. Comfort and saving of energy in the section of heating and sanitary and using renewable energies always were GWW-Philosophies.Helmut projected and made the service in private and hotel bathrooms, heatings for living-houses and industry buildings, fired with wood, oil, gas or heat-recovery and heat-pumps. So it was a logical decision 
to construct the heating and sanitary systems of the new guest-house respecting the same philosophies. It was impossible to find the necessary materials in Chile, so they had to be bought and fit together in Germany considering the measures of the construction plans.The GWW-Modul-System was the ideal method to realize the work, because it saves a lot of room with in the wall integrated flushing tanks from Geberit. Many German hotel renovators trust in the system, which saves a lot of construction time as well. 
The room which contains the technical installations has little more than 1 m² surface and there are fixed a solar-water-storage-heater with 500 litres, a gas-fired room-independent wall-fixed heater, the distributors for cold water, hot water, heating and the equipment for the treatment of the drinking water and the expansion tanks.The whole equipment was preinstalled in Germany, including all pipes, put in an oversea container and sent to Chile. Helmut had to built the house around the technology center. The tube-connection to the low temperature radiators and the sanitary tube system had to be built in while concreting the foundations. The system tube-in-tube Instaflex from +GF+ Schaffhausen was the perfect solution. 
Helmut and his Chilean friends and workers fixed the connections without tolerances. So Matzes grandfather could connect the installations prefabricated from him one year ago, without any alteration.In the hosteria of Adela and Helmut the solar panel was mounted directly on the nothern roof which has 15° inclination. (In Chile is in the north at noon). Inclinating the panel of the guesthouse another 15° there is an improved heat-harvest there. 
It was bought a Junkers gas heater for the heat supply of the central heating and the post-heating of the hot drinking water in a room independent system. The technology of calorific value, which is used normally in Germany couldn´t be installed, because the Chilean electric-energy-supplier Frontel can't guarantee the supply of a constant voltage. So we cannot use the 10 % of energy remaining.The room-independent gas heater receives the oxygen for burning from outside the building. It is conducted in a double-wall exhaust pipe. So the heater doesn't cool down while it's not working and there is no risk of indoor-contamination of smoke. 
The elegantly-proportioned low-temperatur radiators are installed below the windows in a space-saving way. Each radiator has an integrated control valve with a thermostatic top, so that each room of the guesthouse can be individually heated.The drinking water is pumped with a Grundfos submersible motor-driven high-pressure pump, from a well which is about 100 m away. It is accumulated in expansion tanks with a constant pressure. The toilets are wall-mounted and save a lot of precious drinking water, because there are two flushing systems, one for normal use which works with 6 litres per flush and the other for urinating only, which assures a really ecological use. 
The waste water receives a biological treatment before it drains purified in the soil.The Damixa one hand operation mixing tabs for sink, shower and kitchen-sink are equipped with a water-saving technology. The Damixa hand shower can be regulated in 3 jets (normal, soft and massage jet). The shower can be fixed in different altitudes according to the height of the user or can be separated and used free with the hand. The shower tub is covered with tiles anti-slip and you don't have to use a step to get in it. The radiator in the bathroom is designed to dry towels. Of course there is enough space to store your personal belongings and accessories. The installation of heating and drinking-water-system with the approved and appreciated Genkinger-Technology wants to help to transform sleeping and staying with Adela and Helmut in a really conforming experience.
